# Play a match · Thursday Arena

You play the game on the match page. It opens at the first shop, with 10 tokens, three bot offers, and one food. When you end the shop, the auto battle starts. A match is best of three rounds.

Guests play practice matches against an AI board. Signed-in players play rated matches: each round, the game saves their board, and it fights the saved board of another player at the same round. The [rules page](https://thursdayarena.com/rules) has the full rules.
